All day quilting retreat that includes fabric and supplies for 3 separate projects, all day coffee & tea bar with AM and PM catered breaks!  

Our projects include a full quilt top and a coordinating pillow case as well as a fun “Sewing Room Love” quilt project that can be used for a table runner or wall hanging. All 3 projects, all day coffee & tea bar with AM and PM catered breaks for $175.00!

We will be constructing a quilt using the Missouri Star Quilt Company Trip Around the World pattern.  Our fabric is the Riley Blake Glamp Camp fabric collection.  We are inspired by the different options that you will have in organizing your quilt squares to complete your own unique quilting design.  This is a great project to sharpen your piecing skills.  We will be including an amazing tool to achieve a perfectly squared quilt top each time.

We will also be making Misty Doan’s “Sewing Room Love” quilt project.  The fun thing about this project is that you choose your words!  You could follow the instructions and piece the words “Quilt,” “Sew,” your name, child’s name, Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, or any other word that you want to highlight! 

What better way to complete a quilt for yourself or a loved one than by adding coordinating pillowcases to your quilting project!  We have a quick way to use up your leftover fabric from your quilt project that will impress everyone.  Your attention to detail will show with your sewing skills that you will sharpen at our one-day-workshop.  We are excited to spend the day with you at McMenamins Kennedy School.

Our event wraps up at 4:30 with everyone departing by 5PM, however, if you want to make a night of it and rent a room, we have a block of rooms reserved.  Mention that you are Quilters at the Pub attending the Patchwork and Pints Workshop.  

Kennedy school also features several restaurants; the Detention Bar, a theater, and soaking pool.  It’s time to treat yourself to a day of learning and fun.  Maybe even a night of food and relaxation or sewing all night in your room at Kennedy School. 

Once you have registered where you include your email and contact phone number, we will be emailing a list of supplies 2 weeks before the event.  This will help you prepare for our day of sewing for our quilting workshop.
