The Mary Wallopers have released a new track from their forthcoming third album Paddywhackery (due for release 18th September 2026), and announced their next headline tour of the US and Canada.

Kit Kat Club rides in on the back of a primal guitar riff – think heavy rockabilly music built in Ireland specifically for the 21st century gig goer – and proceeds to tell the tale of a drinking mission that “sent them down to Hell”. That domain is a place full of “demons drinking pints of stout”, and somewhere the writer can proudly declare their own status as a socialist. Actually, it sounds more like Heaven from here.

Kit Kat Club – like all of Paddywhackery – was produced by James Skelly (The Coral) at Kempston Street Studios in Liverpool. It follows the recently released tracks Crowns Of England – described as “sure to have Nigel Farage spitting his bitter out” by The Guardian – and the band’s pure and simple anti-gentry anthem Landlord’s Demise

Following summer festival performances across Europe, including second headliner on the main stage at Ireland’s huge All Together Now last weekend, and at Crystal Palace in London with Kneecap recently, The Mary Wallopers will play a huge series of dates in the autumn, including arena shows in the UK and Ireland, before heading to the US and Canada early next year.
