Hot Stepmom
Hot Stepmom is an alternative indie group which currently consists of Jarin Szewczyk (bass), Anna Norris (vocals, guitar) and Ben Babcock (drums). They aim to blend their individual influences into a unique and cohesive sound, while creating opportunities to showcase each other’s strengths. Hot Stepmom released their 5-song studio EP ‘Nothing to Nowhere’ in March 2024, which has accumulated over 37,000 streams across platforms. They have since released a single called ‘Cocoon’ and a live album from their EP release show titled ‘Live at Spanish Ballroom’ which features three currently unreleased songs. Hot Stepmom plans on releasing another studio project in the near future and hopes to put together their first tour along with it.
Russian Blue
Seattle- b a s e d Russian Blue mixes danceable post-punk with explosive electronics to craft songs that are as theatrical and bombastic a s they are cathartic and deeply emotional. Pulling from the likes of Bowie, LCD Soundsystem, Talking Heads, and Bleachers, the band delivers a show that is somehow both maximalist and extremely personal. Known for their impeccable production, both on stage and in studio, Russian Blue turns the air electric, makes the room shake, and gives you goosebumps and a smile.
