From its humble beginnings in 1947 to its unforgettable giant bird sign, learn about the unique history of the Yard Birds Family Shopping Center, its growth into a multi-million dollar company, and all the wacky fun in between. Jason Mattson talks about the history of Yard Birds in Chehalis, Olympia, and Shelton, Washington.  

Jason Mattson has been the executive director of the Lewis County Historical Museum in Chehalis, Washington for the past eight years. He is a Centralia native and has a particular love of Yard Birds and the arts.
