In 1920, F. W. Cleator hiked and photographed Central Oregon’s Skyline Trail; a century later, Jim O’Connor made the same trek. During this presentation, Jim will screen his and Cleator’s photos showing how the trail’s landscapes have dramatically changed over time and by human contact.
Jim O’Connor is a Portland geologist and expert on the Pacific Northwest’s remarkable and diverse landscape. He holds a degree in geological science from University of Washington and a master’s and PhD from the University of Arizona.
