Take a visual journey to the origins of the Columbia River, from its source as a tiny spring in the Canadian Rockies out to the Pacific Ocean. Photographer Peter Marbach shares stories from his 12-year project documenting all 1,250 miles of the mighty river. Learn about the complicated history of the Columbia River Treaty, its impact on First Nations and Indigenous communities, and the ongoing efforts to restore one of the world’s greatest salmon runs.
