Willamette Week turned 50 years old last November and to commemorate their golden anniversary co-editor Audrey van Buskirk distilled five decades of local history into an entertaining and informative guide to Portland’s culture and creativity.   

Audrey van Buskirk is the former Arts and Culture editor for Willamette Week and has also written for Portland Tribune, MIX; Portland Monthly, Santa Fe Reporter, and Seattle Weekly. She has spent the last 20 years uncovering Portland’s hottest restaurants, coolest bars, quirkiest monuments, and wildest places and launched influential guides including Best 100 Restaurants, Beervana, Cheap Eats, and many more.
