Forest Pub: Borneo’s Forests & Elephants

The world’s smallest species of elephant lives in one of the world’s most ancient and biodiverse forests. The Kinabatangan River in Malaysian Borneo is home to an incredible array of wildlife, including orangutans, hornbills, and Bornean elephants.

Join World Forestry Center and the Oregon Zoo for January’s Forest Pub to learn about Borneo’s forests, the challenges facing its wildlife, and the Oregon Zoo’s decades-long work with local partners to protect habitat, support human-wildlife coexistence, and care for orphaned elephants.

Discover how Portland is connected to conservation efforts around the world and the work being done to protect forests and wildlife for future generations.

Doors open at 6 p.m. Program begins at 7 p.m.
