Bands Don’t Cry
Formed in 2025, Bands Don’t Cry brings the timeless sound and spirit of The Cure to life with a fresh, female-fronted edge. Hailing from the Seattle music scene, the group is made up of seasoned musicians with deep roots in diverse projects: Kimberly Pearson (vocals), Dan Lamberty (guitar), Owen Yen (keys), Bugra Karabey (bass), and Curt Moseley (drums).
Together, they capture everything fans love about The Cure—spanning shimmering pop/dance hits to their darker, gothic masterpieces. Their setlist dives into both classics and deep cuts, celebrating albums like Disintegration and Wish with songs including Friday I’m in Love, Just Like Heaven, In Between Days, Lullaby, A Letter to Elise, A Forest, Cut, Burn, Fascination Street, Boys Don’t Cry and more.
With a mix of emotional intensity, authentic style, and a dash of 80s/90s fun, Bands Don’t Cry delivers the look, sound, and heart of The Cure for longtime devotees and new fans alike.
