The Absolute Worst is an interactive, open-mic comedy/storytelling show where audience members face off against three curated comedians and storytellers to find out who can lay claim to having lived the worst love story ever, with both absolutely fabulous and absolutely terrible prizes at stake.
And if you have a great story about an absolutely terrible love story you had to endure, you might walk away with the evening’s grand prize!
Maybe your personal worst love story is about that one time you finally got up the nerve to ask out your secret crush, only to have them break out laughing at the very idea. Or maybe your worst love story was about the person you really were sure was “the one,” until you caught them in bed with your best friend. Or maybe it’s about that cat you gave your heart to that seemed to love everyone in your family except you, or that favorite food you loved until you got food poisoning, or that mentor you hero-worshipped who let you down, or that television show you watched every single week for years only to have the series finale totally suck balls so bad it just destroyed you to a degree that you are still, frankly, a little embarrassed to admit.
Don’t want to tell a story? No problem! You can still win a prize by winning our Absolute Worst Pictionary Cage Match, or giving the best answer to our Absolute Worst Question Of The Night, or being crowned the Absolute Best Audience Member, or some other prize that we’ll probably just make up as we go.
Also, we may ask everyone to howl at the moon. Or we may not. (We’ll see.)
