In the summer of 1983, Mike & Brian McMenamin took a chance on a new venture, and within just a couple of years, pub culture in Oregon was changed forever. Our second Tales & Tours series features our first three pubs, covering the unique history of each and the ways each of them contributed to things we now take for granted.
This hour-long event will be split between telling tales at a communal table–where guests can purchase their favorite pint and an appetizer while they hear of the history of the building–and a guided tour exploring the rich histories of each property through its art and artifacts.
This tour may require standing for extended periods and the use of stairs.
