Sonny Phono is a Portland based DJ with roots in San Diego whose skills were forged over 20 years in San Francisco. Since relocating to Portland in 2020, he has made his new home a loving one. He is a co-resident at the long running Motown on Mondays at Sugar Hill, hosts a Golden Era Hip Hop night at The Trough in Southeast. You can also find him playing sporadically at Soho House Portland and on the concourse inside the Moda Center before Trail Blazers games. Friendly, funky, and fresh, he’s a versatile party rocker in any setting.
