Are you swimming in books you have already read? Are you in need of new-to-you books? Well, head to Kennedy School and trade your books with other book-loving Portlanders. Bring up to a tote bag full of books to trade, then leave with up to a tote bag full of books. There will be books out for swap right at 6pm and until 9pm.
We will have a fun literary-themed cocktail menu. Sip cocktails, browse, and chat about books. There will be books
Please note: This is a fiction book swap; please no children’s books or works of nonfiction. Full list of rules below.
RULES
- The focus of this book swap is fiction for adults
- Ticketed guests may bring one book, or up to one tote bag of books to trade and may take up to one tote bag of books home
- Tickets are only required for those participating in the book swap; children accompanying adults may enter without a ticket
- Books must be in good condition, free of stains, writing, highlighting, water damage, rips or bad smells; creased spines or dog-eared pages are acceptable
- Acceptable fiction genres: literary fiction, contemporary fiction, sci-fi, romance, thrillers, horror, mystery, romantacy, fantasy, and general fiction
- Please do not bring works of nonfiction (such as memoirs, biographies, histories, self-help books, textbooks, creative nonfiction, etc.) or children’s books
