On June 14th, we will be showing Finding Dory at 2 pm! 50% of movie ticket proceeds will go towards SMART Reading.
Get ready to clear out your kids’ bookshelves, because we are hosting a book drive for the Children’s Book Bank at SMART Reading in order to provide books to thousands of local schools and Head Start students! Before the movie begins, SMART Reading will be on site with boxes for book donations located at McMenamins Mission Theater. Bring your new and gently used children’s books for donation and give them a new life with another child or family. Every family that brings books will receive 10% off their concessions.
The Children’s Book Bank is currently accepting board books, picture books, and chapter books for young students. Not accepted are books for high-schoolers/adults, damaged/musty books, scribbled-in books, coloring books, activity books, textbooks, encyclopedias, or ex-library books.
